Wednesday 10th July

a bird swimming in water

Back out on the water today after a wet and windy couple of days, with a four hour then a three hour trip. This morning we headed to where we estimated there would be common dolphin activity and sure enough there was, with three pods spotted over the area. Passengers enjoyed watching them bowriding and hunting. We also saw seabirds including sandwich terns and Mediterranean gulls, and saw several grey seals both in the water and hauled out. This afternoon we had a slightly quieter time of it, but we still had amazing views of a few common dolphins who joined us quite suddenly in the bay. We also saw Seaweed the bull seal who seems to grow more enormous every time we see him.
