Sunday 28th April

grey seal

We had a four hour trip today in bright cold conditions, perfect for sailing. We spotted two minke whales! One of them was probably the same one as we saw the other day and the second was a small juvenile, who do sometimes appear at this time of year. They were very fast, so no photos but everyone on board got to see them. We also had great views of feeding seabirds, including gannets who were feeding near the first whale. Sailing along the coast back eastwards everything was looking very blue and green! Then to finish the trip we saw several grey seals, both on the rocks and in the water.
