Saturday 20th April
We had our first four hour sail of the season this morning in rather more easterly wind than was forecast. It built behind us as we sailed into the Land’s End area, where it was much calmer and we saw lots of bird life including some feeding Manx shearwaters, as well as some grey seals. It was idyllic in the cove with its turquoise water and rocky cave, though it has to be said that bouncing back east was a bit of an endurance test! This afternoon we had a lovely Bay Discovery trip – we headed east this time and explored under Cudden point before sailing back to Penzance. We saw seals in four different locations today.
No trips tomorrow though there are some spaces on Monday morning at 9.30,
