Monday 3rd July

We were supposed to have two Ocean Discovery trips today, but it got do very windy by the end of the morning, we had to cancel the afternoon trip. And we’re pretty glad we did – it was 37mph at Land’s End this afternoon! This morning however we reefed right down and  had a lovely time, with awesome Risso’s dolphin encounters close to the coast. They were tucked right under the coast so we were able to see them really well. We then ventured offshore a bit and were joined by some really sociable common dolphins who swam with us as we sailed, giving everyone some brilliant views. There were also a couple of seals by the island.
