Risso's dolphins

Risso’s dolphins

Unbroken sunshine all day today, but with an easterly wind which properly chopped up the sea by this afternoon. As soon as we left the harbour this morning we found the remains of a recently preyed upon cuttlefish – sure signs of recent Risso’s dolphin activity. We later found a group spread out over a wide area again, and got some great views. The moved on this afternoon leaving us with just seabirds and waves to look at, but everyone enjoyed themselves.
