Wednesday 7th June

common dolphins

Groundhog day! The easterly wind today meant that we cancelled the afternoon trip and shortened the morning to a three hour. However we had a really good trip, with some fun friendly passengers who didn’t mind getting a bit wet! It was worth it, because we found a group of about twenty common dolphins who bow rode with us for about 30 minutes. It’s great sailing along on the wind watching them surface just feet from us. We also had lovely views of female grey seals including a very pretty newcomer.
