Tuesday 13th June

Tall ship "Phoenix"

Two three hour trips today is lovely calm conditions. This afternoon the northerly breeze built a bit and we were able to sail for a fair portion of the trip – into the mist at Land’s End! We saw harbour porpoises and grey seals this morning, and had good views of seabirds fishing for sandeels. This afternoon was unfortunately really quiet, though we spotted a couple of seals in the water and some shearwaters. It was very chilled though and we had lovely views of the Phoenix sailing into Mount’s Bay with her latest cargo.
