Thursday 25th September

Two dolphins swimming in blue ocean water, one leaping slightly above water surface.

Morning Ocean Discovery:
We enjoyed some lovely views of harbour porpoises surfacing close to the boat, offering everyone a great look at these elusive animals. We spotted plenty of feeding seabirds and several grey seals hauled out and in the water around the island.

Afternoon Discovery Voyage:
Harbour porpoises made another appearance, and we were lucky to encounter several pods of sociable common dolphins, putting on a fantastic show around the catamaran. We also saw a few distant breaches from bluefin tuna—always an exciting sight. Among the seabird highlights were great skuas harassing kittiwakes, and some striking great shearwaters mixed in with the Manx shearwaters.
