Sunday 14th May

a flock of seagulls are swimming in a body of water

We had a Bay Discovery trip this morning in cooler cloudier conditions, but flat calm sea. There was a great array of birdlife to be spotted, including several puffins, gannets, guillemots, fulmars, kittiwakes and sandwich terns. We also saw a couple of grey seals round the island including a young one hauled out on the rocks. We saw another seal almost in the harbour at the end of the trip.
