Saturday 2nd August

dolphin group ocean water.

There were common dolphins everywhere today. It was a beautiful day with a lovely sailing breeze. We found them on their own, with feeding gannets, and with feeding shearwaters. We also spotted that tell tale stop start of tons of gannets piling into the water when they are following and feeding with porpoises – we did see the porpoises but only rather briefly. Later on this afternoon we found an area that was thick with feeding Manx shearwaters, and there were yet more dolphins with them. There were also a few tuna splashes this morning.

We are shut tomorrow and Monday, but open again from Tuesday.
