Friday 19th May

a bird flying over a body of water

It was a day of two halves today. This morning was sunny and glassy calm: we found lots of seabirds including puffins, a couple of grey seals and finally an interactive pod of common dolphins. They gave everyone beautiful views through the clear water. This afternoon the sun hid and the wind came up making it feel very cold – summer definitely isn’t here yet! We looked hard for the dolphins but they had moved on. We saw grey seals and more puffins among the other seabirds.
