Friday 12th May

a seal located in a body of water

Another breezy day today with great sailing, but the sun was out and it felt much warmer. We explored through the bay looking for the dolphins we saw yesterday though none showed up. We saw three beautiful seals on the island who were lying in the sun, including our favourite female Kelp. We then sailed southwards on the brisk northerly wind, and watched the seabirds gliding past us – gannets, shearwaters and auks. The coastline looked amazing in the strong May sunshine.
