The Discovery Adventure is our longest and most immersive wildlife trip, designed for those who want to spend real time exploring the seas around Mount’s Bay and the far south-west of Cornwall.

With five hours on the water, this flagship voyage allows us to visit a greater range of wildlife habitats in a single trip. Depending on the conditions and recent sightings, we might head offshore to search the open sea, or follow the spectacular coastline towards Land’s End to visit seabird colonies, seal haul-outs and the waters around Longships Lighthouse.

Every trip is different. Using more than 20 years of experience studying the wildlife of these waters, our crew will choose the route that gives us the best chance of finding whatever the ocean has to offer on that particular day.

The extended time at sea means a greater opportunity to encounter the rich variety of marine life found in West Cornwall. Depending on the season, we could see dolphins, porpoises, whales, seals, pelagic seabirds, bluefin tuna, ocean sunfish and many other species.

To make the experience as enjoyable as possible, this trip is limited to just 10 passengers, giving everyone plenty of space to watch and photograph the wildlife while enjoying the unique experience of sailing quietly through this remarkable marine environment.

• • This trip is entirely weather dependent. If it looks like conditions are unsuitable for this longer trip then you may be offered the opportunity of going on one of our shorter trips (partial refunds would apply)
